Drawing from her classical piano roots, gospel and folk influences, and a deep love of pop/rock, Carla Olive crafts a unique and progressive sound that moves effortlessly between hard-hitting rock and intimate acoustic folk. She writes relatable songs about love, personal struggles, social issues, and global concerns, while also creating dynamic and contemplative instrumental pieces. With over 25 years in the music industry, Carla has released numerous albums, performed at countless venues and festivals across North America, collaborated and freelanced with respected artists, and continues to write, record, and perform with passion.

Currently residing in Victoria BC, Carla can be found actively performing solo, duo or with a band in all kinds of local venues sharing pop/rock/country covers and originals. Carla is curator and lead guitarist for an all-female Women In Music tribute band called St. Cecilia – truly a celebration of Women and their contribution to the music industry.
